Headquartered in Baltimore, MD, 3M's largest supplier of window film asked Work Consultants to implement a reliable network infrastructure. Originally, desktops included Windows 98, 2000, XP Home and XP Pro, making one goal to consolidate Windows flavors. Furthermore, they suspected that they were not getting complete tape backups on their server which had no redundancy. Moreover, they had no previous dedicated network support team, so Work Consultants would need to completely document their network which would aid in expediting future service calls.
